How beautiful are we?
We hear this word beautiful very often in our lives, but do we even know what it truly means? We think beauty is something that only pleases our eyes and it is only limited to that. If we ask a person what beauty represents for them, they can name a number of things. But it will be very difficult to explain why they consider that particular thing beautiful. There are many people in this world and so, when you walk down the street, you probably see only a handful that strikes you as gorgeous. But are they really beautiful, fully through?
And are the people you consider ugly, gorgeous on the inside? Well, the definition of beautiful is different for everyone, because everyone has their own point of view and because of that, they cannot like the same things. Also, it depends on the culture and on the level of the development of the person. A lot of people forget that it is not only important to have a beautiful body but a beautiful soul as well. If we observe the teenagers or youth they try their best to present themselves well because it is set in their mind that the clothes and make-up determine their beauty. It is impossible to say that one person is better than the other, as such a thing does not exist. We are all different and this is actually good because if we were the same, we would not try to develop ourselves in the best way.
But the truth is, only having an outer beauty doesn’t define beautiful. The most important thing that makes someone beautiful is the soul they carry. I consider inner beauty to be more important than outer beauty. It is considered that a person who is beautiful from within remains beautiful till the end but a person who just looks beautiful on the outside, their beauty may fade away gradually. A person whose inner self is beautiful, his/her beauty will glorify by each passing year. Always remember that you are beautiful. The world will try to pull you down sometimes but you know the truth. Don’t listen to their lies, you know you’re gorgeous! Never change yourself to fit into someone else’s idea of pretty. There
