MUN at Thames

Model United Nations, also known as MUN, is an academic activity where students can learn about diplomacy, International Relations, and the United Nations. It guides students in areas such as speaking, debating, and writing skills, as well as critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership abilities. Some schools also offer MUN as a course. It engages students and allows them to develop a deeper understanding of the current world.

Rotaract club of Thames collaborated with Youth Thinkers Society and conducted this workshop on 23rd and 24th of May. The thing with these skills is that we gain them through practicing Model UN, as we cannot improve research skills without spending time researching or public speaking without speaking in front of groups of people multiple times. So overall it was an amazing experience and everyone should try it once.
